In situ measurement Measurement of thickness, moisture, consistency, diameter, composition and weight. Applications include pulp, paper and film, wire, cable and pipe, food.

Particle characterisation Instrumentation for accurate characterisation of particles, fibre and material properties. Applications include pharmaceutical research, pulp and paper, paints, polymers and cement.

Contamination detection Monitoring instrumentation to detect micro-contamination in cleanrooms. Applications in semiconductor, electronics and pharmaceuticals manufacturing. Equipment to detect contaminants such as bone, metal or glass in fresh or processed food.

X-ray analysis Analytical instrumentation and software for determining the chemical composition and crystallographic structure of a range of materials. Applications include research and development in biotechnology, nanotechnology, pharmaceuticals, metals and minerals, and industrial process control.

UV curing Systems for curing photo-sensitive inks, coatings and adhesives. Applications include printing and packaging, CD and DVD production, electronics, and automotive industries.

Sound & vibration analysis and monitoring Instrumentation and software to measure, monitor and analyse noise and vibration. Applications include automotive, aerospace, telecommunications, household appliances, environmental noise, hydroelectric and wind turbine monitoring.

Electronic control Scanners, counters, meters, displays, load cells, industrial controls and systems for remote data acquisition and control. Applications in process measurement and control, product tracking and quality control.

Our locations

Our companies have offices around the world, helping customers to meet global challenges wherever they are based. We have increased our presence in the rapidly growing markets of China, eastern Europe, Mexico and India in order to work more closely with our customers. This has been achieved as a result of carefully targeted acquisitions, as well as a change in the staff mix, with particular emphasis on adding customer-facing personnel.
