Malvern Panalytical are leading the Group’s solar ambitions, with further solar projects now underway across the Group.

Eindhoven

In early June 2020, we saw the successful completion of Malvern Panalyticals new solar park at their site in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. The solar park is located on the spot where the old Malvern Panalytical building once stood and consists of 1800 panels.

The panels will yield approximately 500 Mwh per year which is one third of ours need for the Eindhoven site and equal to 147 times the annual requirement of an average family.

UK

The Malvern Panalytical site in Malvern, UK has a photovoltaic system installed with more than 700 solar panels on the roof of the site. The system began producing electricity at the beginning of July 2019. While actual production depends on solar radiation (season, clouds, temperature), we have been generating some great solar energy - 162,949.03 kWh in 2021 and 162,243.38 in 2020.
